How the characters are connected
In-ji works for NM, a discreet service that arranges one-year contract spouses. After separating from Seo-yeon, Jeong-won enters one of those arrangements with In-ji. Tudum says Seo-yeon arranged new marriages for herself and Jeong-won, expecting them to reunite after a year. In-ji and Jeong-won gradually form a bond as questions surrounding the service and a trunk found in a lake deepen the mystery.
