Taylor Ann Green’s former boyfriend was Gaston Rojas. They began seeing each other in 2023 after meeting through her friend TJ Dinch, and Taylor confirmed their breakup in June 2026 after nearly three years together. The word “new” is no longer accurate: they are no longer a couple.
Who is Gaston Rojas?
Gaston Rojas is the man Taylor dated from 2023 until their 2026 breakup. Taylor publicly identified him as Gaston in an October 2023 Us Weekly interview. He was the roommate of her friend TJ Dinch, which is how the two met.
Taylor described their first one-on-one outing as an “accidental date”: they had expected to have dinner with friends, but the friend canceled, leaving them together. Looking back on the relationship’s beginning during Southern Charm Season 10, she said, “We were friends, and then we went on an accidental date,” as quoted by Bravo.
When did Taylor and Gaston start dating?
They began talking or seeing each other in 2023, but accounts distinguish that early period from when they called themselves a couple. Taylor told Us Weekly in October 2023 that they started talking at the end of July and had made the relationship official about a month before the interview. Bravo’s January 2025 account describes them as beginning to see each other in July 2023; in a separate February 2025 report, Taylor said she “started dating Gaston in September.” Taken together, those accounts point to a gradual start rather than a single agreed-upon date.

What did Taylor say about the relationship timeline involving Salley Carson?
In February 2025, Taylor said there was no overlap between her relationship with Gaston and Salley Carson’s earlier relationship with him. Taylor said Salley had stopped communicating with Gaston in July and that she began dating him in September. This is Taylor’s account of the timeline; the show included a disagreement about it. Bravo reported her comments.
Why did Taylor and Gaston break up?
Taylor confirmed the split during a June 2, 2026 appearance on The Viall Files; Bravo and Us Weekly published accounts the next day. She said the breakup was her decision and pointed to fundamental differences and an argument about how she felt Gaston spoke to her. In the same coverage, Taylor also alleged infidelity, which Gaston denied. The allegation is disputed and should not be treated as an established fact or confused with the reasons Taylor gave for ending the relationship.

No romantic reconciliation was confirmed in the June 2026 podcast appearance: Us Weekly reported that Taylor denied getting back together with her former partner Shep Rose. E! later reported that Shep said he had reconnected with Taylor, but reconnecting is not evidence that they resumed a romantic relationship. Us Weekly and E! covered those separate statements.
