Yes. At the Love Is Blind Season 9 reunion, Megan Walerius—known on the show as Sparkle Megan—revealed that she had welcomed a baby boy named Brooks about two and a half months earlier. She said she had kept her pregnancy and the beginning of her son’s life private while adjusting to being in the public eye. The announcement gives viewers new context for Megan’s story, but it does not erase the concerns she raised about marrying Jordan and becoming a stepparent.
What Megan announced at the reunion
Megan revealed that she had become a mother and identified her son as Brooks. Netflix’s reunion recap, published October 30, 2025, says Brooks was born roughly two and a half months before the reunion. The Independent also reported that Megan said she had a baby boy two and a half months earlier and named him Brooks.
Megan told Netflix Tudum: “Being cast in the limelight now, I wanted to have my pregnancy and the start of Brooks’s life — for us to have privacy.” She also said, “Now I know more than ever that I was put on earth to be a mom.” Her remarks explained why viewers had not previously heard about the pregnancy; they did not provide an exact birth date.
Who is Brooks’s father?
Netflix’s reunion recap identifies Brooks’s father as Paul. According to that account, Megan met Paul through a mutual friend after Season 9 filming wrapped, and they became pregnant three months into dating. Those are rounded timeline details from Netflix’s recap; they do not establish precise dates for when Megan met Paul, conceived, or gave birth.

The reunion recap says filming had wrapped a year and a half before the reunion. Because the show was filmed well before the reunion aired, the baby announcement was news about Megan’s life after the experiment, not a development in her on-screen relationship with Jordan.
How the announcement changes the Jordan story—and what it does not prove
Megan and Jordan became engaged during Season 9 but broke up before their wedding. In the season’s relationship story, Megan wrestled with differences in lifestyle and the practical commitments involved in joining the life of a single father. Marie Claire’s account of Jordan and Megan’s relationship describes those doubts and their split.

Learning that Megan later had a child with Paul can change how viewers interpret her experience of motherhood: she has since described it as central to her life. But the reunion announcement does not show that her situation with Paul was the same as the one she faced with Jordan, or that her earlier reservations were insincere or insignificant. Becoming a parent with one partner does not answer what it would have meant to take on a stepparent role, navigate lifestyle differences, and marry another.

In a separate October 30, 2025, cast update, Netflix Tudum reported that Megan wanted to focus on life with her son and partner and step away from some cast drama. That is the status she described at the time of the update, not confirmation of her circumstances today.
