What the Season 3 release-window announcement said
On March 24, 2024, the official TV anime site announced that Re:ZERO Season 3 would begin broadcasting in October 2024. That was a release window, not a confirmed premiere date.
The exact Japanese broadcast schedule came later. It set the first episode for October 2, 2024, and divided the season into two parts of eight episodes each: the Attack Arc and the Counterattack Arc.
| Date | What it means |
|---|---|
| October 2024 | The release window announced March 24, 2024. |
| October 2, 2024 | Scheduled Japanese start of the eight-episode Attack Arc. |
| February 5, 2025 | Scheduled Japanese start of the eight-episode Counterattack Arc. |
The dates and arc details are listed on the official Japanese broadcast and streaming schedule. As of October 2026, these are historical dates, not an upcoming release.

Why the announcement and premiere dates differ
The franchise’s official site first confirmed production of a third TV season on March 27, 2023. The October 2024 window was announced on March 24, 2024; a June 6, 2024 official update then described the first episode as a 90-minute special. The scheduled October 2 start is the regular Japanese launch date, while earlier world or Japan premiere events were screenings rather than the television schedule.
Where to watch Season 3 now
The official schedule records the 2024 Japanese rollout: broadcasters included AT-X, Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, and Sun TV, with ABEMA and d Anime Store among the early streaming services. Other listed services followed from October 5, 2024. This is a historical schedule for Japan, not a current guide to streaming catalogs elsewhere.
