What is Furies about?
The French-language drama is set in Paris and follows Lyna as she searches for the person who killed her father. Her parents’ connections to major crime families bring her into the city’s underworld; after jail, she investigates the mysterious Fury and infiltrates the syndicate. Selma trains her as a potential recruit, and the two uncover a conspiracy threatening the criminal world.
The premise begins at Lyna’s birthday celebration, where her father is shot. Unable to identify the killer, she is sent to jail. There she develops her self-defense skills, then pursues the truth after her release. The series focuses on the fictional Parisian criminal underworld rather than presenting a documentary account of real criminal organizations.
