A December 27, 2024 episode discussion said the subtitled episode was expected on Crunchyroll about two hours after its Fuji TV start. That was community guidance, not an official episode-level release-time commitment. Streaming availability and local timing can vary by territory; check Crunchyroll’s listing for the relevant region.
Where to watch, by region and version
| Where | Version or timing established | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Selected Crunchyroll territories | Japanese audio with subtitles; weekly simulcast announced alongside Japanese television | Toei’s announcement names the United States, Canada, Latin America including Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, and Southeast Asia. It does not establish every territory’s precise local posting time. |
| Japan | Prime Video and FOD distribution announced from Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 00:30 JST, after the television broadcast | This is a Japan-specific distribution announcement, not a schedule for other countries. Dragon Ball Official Site announcement |
| Other services and dub editions | Episode 12’s exact schedule is not established here | Hulu has a series listing, but that listing alone does not establish episode 12’s timing or language in a particular territory. The Japanese broadcast time is not the English-dub release time. |
Why some listings may show a different date
A Spanish-language schedule article listed episode 12 as December 20, 2024, but episode-specific listings identify “True Strength” with December 27. The episode-specific date is the better-supported one: it is consistent with the contemporaneous December 27 discussion and the episode catalog listing. MeriStation’s schedule article
