How the global chart differs from your Replay
The Top Songs chart reflects listening across Apple Music; Replay is personalized to an individual account. Apple says Replay uses listening history, number of plays, and time spent listening to rank that person’s music. Depending on eligibility, Replay includes monthly top songs, artists, and albums, and a year-end view with top songs, artists, albums, genres, playlists, stations, counts, totals, and listening time.

How to find your Apple Music Replay
- In the Music app: Open Music, go to Home, scroll to Replay: Your Top Music, then choose Go back in time.
- On the web: Sign in at replay.music.apple.com with the Apple Account associated with your Apple Music subscription, then choose Jump In.
Apple says the yearly Replay playlist updates weekly; playlists from previous years and an All Time playlist are also available. If Replay is missing, check that Use Listening History is enabled on your devices. Apple also requires enough listening for eligibility but does not publish a numeric threshold on its current support page.

Apple published additional rankings alongside the global songs list. They measure different kinds of activity, so a Shazam identification, radio spin, lyric read, or Sing ranking should not be treated as equivalent to an Apple Music play.

These chart details were reported in Apple Music’s 2025 year-end announcement, republished by Record of the Day. For historical context, Apple’s 2022 Replay announcement described the feature as a way to revisit the music associated with meaningful moments; that statement was made by Apple executive Oliver Schusser in 2022, not as a comment on the 2025 charts.
