TechRadar reported KNOW, CLOTH, TELL, BALL, BELT, and PILL as non-theme words that could unlock in-game hints. Forbes also offered first-two-letter nudges: PI, LI, SH, TO, TA, and BL. These are aids described by 2024 guides, not guarantees about how the game currently handles hints.

Why the theme is “Bed, bath and beyond”
The five theme words are household linens, not a list limited to items used on a bed. SHEET, BLANKET, and PILLOWCASE are bedding; TOWEL belongs in the bath; TABLECLOTH covers a table. The spangram, LINEN CLOSET, names the shared place or category that ties those fabrics together. That broader reading explains the “beyond” in the clue.

Forbes described Strands as a word-search-style puzzle on a six-by-eight grid. Letters can connect vertically, horizontally, or diagonally, and a word’s path can turn. The spangram names the theme connection and stretches between at least two sides of the board. Forbes reported that three valid non-theme words of at least four letters unlock the Hint button, which highlights a theme word; Try Hard Guides likewise describes non-theme words as a way to generate hints. These mechanics reflect 2024 descriptions and should not be taken as confirmation of current interface or access terms.
