About this date’s puzzle
The date here is Sunday, July 19, 2026; the year matters because the Mini is date-specific and other years have different puzzles. WordHint credits the puzzle to Joel Fagliano, though that constructor credit could not be confirmed against an accessible official NYT puzzle page. WordHint also describes clue-level hint and answer controls, including revealing a letter, and says it is independent of the New York Times.
#1 Best Overall
The answer lists from WordHint and Parade agree. Parade’s guide was timestamped July 18 at 10:30 p.m. EDT (July 19 at 02:30 UTC) and says the Mini resets at 10 p.m., without specifying a timezone for that general reset-time statement. The exact reset timezone for this puzzle is not established here.
