The official episode synopsis and Aniplex’s episode listing both identify the staged-death reveal as the story’s key turn.
Nice is the hero identity associated with Lin Ling. Crunchyroll describes him confronting God Eye in an effort to save Moon, clarifying the immediate stakes behind the gamble. The synopsis establishes the setup and Lin Ling’s reaction, but it does not spell out the exact final outcome of his decision.
Is Moon really killed?
Not according to the official episode synopsis: it explicitly says Moon’s death was staged. The title’s suggestion of a confirmed killing therefore needs qualification. The available official listings support a fake-death reveal, but they do not establish the precise interpretation of the episode’s final moments beyond Lin Ling’s gamble and attempt to save Moon.

Its listing includes audio and subtitle options, but what is available can vary by territory and change over time, so check the episode page from your location. ABEMA’s Japanese listing gives a broadcast slot of April 30, 2025; that is a separate Japanese listing, not a universal streaming date.
