There is no official, objective ranking of the strongest anime protagonists from Spring 2025 in the available sources. The seasonal rankings published by Anime Corner measure audience response, not combat ability. This article therefore treats “strongest” as an editorial comparison based on demonstrated feats—and does not invent a ranked list where comparable evidence is missing.
Why there is no official Spring 2025 strength ranking
Anime Corner’s final Spring 2025 poll ranked Umamusume: Cinderella Cap first, The Apothecary Diaries Season 2 second, and To Be Hero X third. That is a ranking of anime titles by audience response, not a comparison of their protagonists’ strength. The poll drew 56,291 participants across the season’s voting; its overall score combined the final Anime of the Season poll at 55% and weekly rankings at 45%. Anime Corner’s Spring 2025 results explain the poll and its weighting.
A separate Anime Corner poll asked readers to vote for male characters. Jinshi received 8.49% of votes, Haruka Sakura 5.58%, and Hayato Suo 4.45%, among 10,347 participants. Those figures indicate voter preference, not fighting power or a cross-series strength score. They cannot establish that Jinshi is stronger than a combat-focused character. The male-character poll is useful popularity context, not a power ranking.
What counts as Spring 2025?
For a consistent seasonal boundary, Spring 2025 refers to anime premiering between April and June 2025. Crunchyroll’s announcement gives a view of its Spring 2025 lineup, but a platform announcement does not settle every regional availability question or every case involving a returning season or continuing cour. LiveChart’s Spring 2025 TV listings provide a seasonal reference, while Crunchyroll’s lineup announcement reflects that service’s announced titles.

This comparison uses the April–June premiere window and includes returning seasons if they premiered new episodes in that window. It does not treat a series that merely continued from an earlier cour as a Spring 2025 premiere. Lineups and streaming availability can differ by country, so the titles a viewer could watch in a given region may not match a platform’s global announcement.
How a defensible strength comparison should work
Cross-series rankings are editorial because different anime use different rules: one protagonist may rely on physical ability, another on a supernatural technique with strict conditions, and another may succeed through tactical judgment rather than raw force. A fair comparison should disclose its criteria and stick to what the anime actually shows, rather than treating genre, reputation, or popularity as evidence.
Rank #2
- DARK DEKU: Hunt down the League of Villains with Total Anime Izuku Midoriya
- MY HERO ACADEMIA: 6.5-inch highly poseable figure is based on My Hero Academia
- 30+ ARTICULATION POINTS: Features 30+ points of articulation for dynamic play and display
- CUSTOMIZABILITY: Includes removable backpack, swappable faceplates, and alternate hands for customization
- SPECIAL ACCESSORY: Also includes energy effects to display Fa Jin and Blackwhip
- Demonstrated power or physical strength: on-screen accomplishments, assessed in context rather than inferred from a character’s title or reputation.
- Speed and reactions: movement, evasion, and responses shown in the anime, not promotional descriptions.
- Durability and recovery: damage endured, recovery demonstrated, and visible costs or limits.
- Abilities and range: powers, weapons, transformations, and techniques, including prerequisites and counters.
- Combat skill and judgment: training, tactics, adaptability, and decisions under pressure.
- Limitations: stamina, vulnerabilities, inconsistent performance, and rules that make a direct matchup unfair.
These are practical editorial criteria, not an externally standardized scoring system. Even when two characters have impressive feats, comparing them remains uncertain if their stories use different scales or never show equivalent challenges. A responsible ranking should mark that uncertainty rather than imply mathematical precision.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What can—and cannot—be ranked from the available evidence
The available poll data establish audience preferences and title rankings, but they do not supply the individual anime feats needed to score each Spring 2025 protagonist against the same criteria. Without that character-by-character evidence, assigning an ordered strongest-to-weakest list would be false precision. The most accurate answer is that no official strongest-protagonist ranking is established here, and these poll results cannot substitute for one.

- Fight curses and be in the action - Gojo is back! This time the blind fold is coming off and he’s letting his hair down. As the strongest sorcerer in the world, Gojo has access to Hollow Purple, which is a remarkably powerful secret technique that was achieved by awakening the true power of the Limitless during his rematch against Toji Fushiguro. It launches imaginary mass, which can deal destructive damage to any target
- Manga Inspired packaging – Each Anime Heroes line has manga inspired packaging and beautiful artwork on the front featuring the characters you know and love
- Endless Play - Each figure comes with 2 sets of interchangeable hands, character specific accessories, and 20+ points of articulation to pose and play in endless ways

- Impressive likeness – Each figure comes with detailed sculpt and true to show features that Anime Heroes action figures are known for
For viewers comparing characters themselves, the useful distinction is straightforward: a popularity poll answers who voters liked or selected; a strength comparison needs demonstrated abilities, limits, and comparable on-screen situations. The first can be measured by votes. The second requires transparent editorial judgment.
