Hints for Strands #643
Try these in order if you want to preserve as much of the puzzle as possible. The theme clue and prompts are reported in Parade’s December 6 guide.
- Theme clue: “One ring to rule them all.”
- First-letter prompts, in board-answer order: RI, FO, WI, SH, HO, DW, QU.
- Spangram prompt: It begins with MI and is mostly horizontal.
In Strands, theme words remain highlighted in blue. The spangram describes the theme and touches two opposite sides of the board. Finding three non-theme words earns an in-game hint that reveals the letters of a theme word.
