How Connections works and where to find the archive

Connections gives players a grid of 16 words to divide into four groups of four. Some words may appear to fit more than one theme, so moving or shuffling the tiles can help reveal a stronger connection. A 2024 Forbes guide said the game was playable on the NYT website and Games app, and that its archive was available to NYT All Access or Games subscribers. Subscription access can change, so check the current NYT Games terms before relying on that description.
