How Hurdle’s rounds connect

Hurdle is a five-round daily word game. In each round, guesses show which letters are correct and in the right place, which are in the word but misplaced, and which are absent. Once you solve a round, its answer becomes the opening guess in the next one. In the final hurdle, all four earlier answers appear as clues, with correct and misplaced letters indicated.

Watch letter counts in the final round

Highlighted letters from earlier guesses do not necessarily tell you how many times those letters occur in the final answer. Treat the displayed clues as information about letter placement and presence, not a guaranteed count.
