The four WWE Superstars Paul Heyman named were Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Bron Breakker and CM Punk. Heyman said the plans unfolded in sequence: Rollins versus Reigns was the first idea, then Breakker versus Punk, and both plans fell apart. F4WOnline described them as successive World title plans—not as the two WrestleMania main events.
Who were the four Superstars, and what were the plans?
In an Instagram interview with his son Jacob, Heyman described two proposed matchups. F4WOnline quoted him saying, “I don’t think it’s a big secret that everything was driving this year to be Seth Rollins vs Roman Reigns, and then that fell apart. And then it was going to be Bron Breakker vs CM Punk, and that fell apart. So I was in line to be a part of the main event this year, and fate intervened not once but even twice.” (F4WOnline, April 17, 2026)
| Plan | Proposed matchup | What Heyman said |
|---|---|---|
| First | Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns | The plan fell apart. |
| Later | Bron Breakker vs. CM Punk | The later plan fell apart, too. |
Heyman did not specify in those remarks exactly why either plan changed. F4WOnline characterized the two as successive World title plans and reported separate title-match context involving Cody Rhodes, Punk and Reigns. Some of that additional card context was described as rumored, so it should not be confused with Heyman’s direct account or treated as confirmation that these were WrestleMania’s two night main events. (F4WOnline, April 17, 2026)
What happened to each wrestler?
Seth Rollins
Rollins was part of the first proposed pairing with Reigns. In separate, dated reporting, F4WOnline described him as a founding member of The Vision and said a shoulder injury in 2025 accelerated his removal from the group. That report is background on the stable’s changing membership, not a current injury update. (F4WOnline, May 29, 2026)

Roman Reigns
Reigns was Rollins’ proposed opponent in the first plan. WWE’s official Paul Heyman profile lists Reigns among Heyman’s past alliances, but neither that biography nor Heyman’s quoted remarks establish Reigns’ full current status as of October 8, 2026.
Bron Breakker
Breakker was named in the later proposed match against Punk. F4WOnline reported that he underwent hernia surgery in 2026 and returned at WrestleMania. This is a report of events through May 29, 2026, not a live assessment of his health or availability today. (F4WOnline, May 29, 2026)

The injury reporting helps explain why the group’s membership and plans could shift, but it does not add Bronson Reed or Logan Paul to Heyman’s original four names. In its May 29, 2026 report, F4WOnline said Reed and Paul were sidelined at that point, while Austin Theory and Breakker were the Vision members it described as available. Those details are specific to that report’s date and should not be read as a current roster or availability list. (F4WOnline, May 29, 2026)

What is confirmed—and what remains unclear?
- Confirmed by Heyman’s reported remarks: Rollins–Reigns was the first plan he described; Breakker–Punk followed; both fell apart.
- Reported by F4WOnline as additional context: The matchups were successive World title plans. Separate WrestleMania card details should not be presented as part of Heyman’s direct confirmation.
- Not established by the cited reports: The final WrestleMania 42 card or the current status of all four wrestlers on October 8, 2026.
WWE’s profile gives useful context for Heyman’s history with the performers, listing career highlights such as “Wiseman to Roman Reigns” and “The Oracle to Seth Rollins.” It is biographical background, not independent confirmation of the scrapped match plans. (WWE)
