The evidence varies: Ski Mask recalled personal conversations while touring together, collaborators and members of Juice’s team described several artists as friends, and GQ called G Herbo a longtime friend. No source establishes a definitive or ranked list of Juice WRLD’s closest friends.
Ski Mask the Slump God: a friendship described firsthand
Ski Mask offered a personal account of their bond in an XXL interview. He recalled touring together and talking about difficult experiences, saying they could relate to each other and understand one another without judgment. That recollection is direct testimony of a close relationship, rather than an inference drawn from their music. XXL’s interview with Ski Mask also describes a musical back-and-forth among Ski Mask, Juice WRLD and XXXTentacion as healthy competition.

Polo G, Kid Laroi, Trippie Redd and Halsey: what Juice’s team said
When discussing the posthumous album Legends Never Die in 2020, Lil Bibby said some of its featured artists were people Juice was “really close with” and “genuinely his friends.” Bibby named Polo G, Kid Laroi and Halsey in that exchange; Peter Jideonwo described the group as “Really like family.” Bibby also said Laroi lived with Juice for a while and that Polo G and Juice were often together at home. These are accounts from people in Juice’s circle, not an official roster. XXL’s 2020 interview about Legends Never Die reports the exchange.
In a later Complex interview about Fighting Demons, Bibby was even more direct about two of the artists: “So I had to do Polo G and Trippie Redd because they were his real friends.” That statement supports describing Polo G and Trippie Redd as friends, while the earlier account supplies context for Polo G, Kid Laroi and Halsey. Complex’s interview about Fighting Demons records Bibby’s explanation.

Album appearances and collaborations help explain why these artists are associated with Juice WRLD, but a feature alone does not establish a personal friendship. The friendship descriptions above come from statements attributed to Bibby and Jideonwo, not simply from the track lists.
G Herbo: described as a longtime friend
A May 2021 GQ profile calls G Herbo Juice WRLD’s “longtime friend.” It also places Juice in a wider Chicago music community that included G Herbo, as well as Grade A figures G Money and Lil Bibby. The profile’s friendship label applies specifically to G Herbo; professional or label connections should not automatically be treated as personal friendships. GQ’s profile of Juice WRLD provides that retrospective description.

Why there is no definitive friends list
The accounts differ in source and specificity: Ski Mask recalled their private conversations and touring; Bibby and Jideonwo described artists in Juice’s circle as friends or like family; and GQ used the phrase “longtime friend” for G Herbo. They do not rank these relationships or establish an exhaustive list. A manager’s role, a label relationship or a shared recording credit can show professional association, but it is not proof of friendship by itself. Complex’s 2019 profile, for example, describes Peter Jideonwo as Juice’s day-to-day manager and says Jideonwo and Bibby became friends through working together; that is not evidence that Jideonwo belonged on a list of Juice’s personal friends. Complex’s profile of Juice WRLD’s management distinguishes those work relationships.
