For a reliable starting point, watch Netflix’s official “How It’s Done” and TWICE-version “Takedown” music videos, then use them as references while exploring fan covers and choreography. Fans have made vocal covers and dance videos in response to KPop Demon Hunters, but there is no verified, stable ranking of the best individual YouTube uploads. The most useful picks depend on whether you want a faithful performance, a fresh interpretation, or help learning the choreography.
Start with the official song references
Official videos give you a dependable way to hear and see the songs before comparing fan performances. Netflix’s official music-video pages for “How It’s Done” and the TWICE version of “Takedown” are both dated July 11, 2025. Treat these as official references, not fan covers.
Netflix’s soundtrack guide specifically connects TWICE’s “Takedown” version with a TikTok dance challenge. That makes it a natural starting point if you are looking for challenge performances or choreography inspired by the film.
What kinds of fan videos to look for
Vocal covers
Vocal covers put the emphasis on a singer’s interpretation: listen for how they handle the melody, harmonies, language, and vocal range. A cover may closely follow the recorded arrangement or rework it; neither approach is automatically better. Check the video description and channel attribution to identify the performer, any collaborators, and whether the audio is a cover or an official recording.

Dance covers
Dance covers can aim to reproduce the choreography, reinterpret it, or adapt it for a solo performer or a different-sized group. If accuracy matters to you, compare the moves with an official reference and look for a creator who identifies the choreography or credits any original choreographer. If you want a creative take, prioritize the performance and staging instead.
Tutorials and challenges
Tutorials break choreography into learnable sections, while challenge videos usually focus on a short, repeatable routine. For “Takedown,” Netflix’s guide establishes the connection to a dance challenge, but that does not make every video using the song an official challenge entry. Check who uploaded the video and how the creator describes it.

How to choose a strong YouTube pick
- Confirm the creator. Look at the channel name, video description, and on-screen credits; do not assume an upload is official because it uses film imagery or soundtrack audio.
- Match the format to what you want. Search for “cover” for singing, “dance cover” for a performance, or “tutorial” if you want instruction. Add the song title, such as “How It’s Done” or “Takedown.”
- Check the performance, not just the view count. Views change and do not establish quality. For singing, assess the vocal and recording clarity; for dance, decide whether you value faithful choreography or an original interpretation.
- Check the upload date and availability. Search results and fan uploads can change. Open the video itself to confirm that it is still public and that the visible title and credits match the result you intended to watch.
- Use the official version as a comparison point. This is especially helpful when you want to judge choreography accuracy or distinguish a fan interpretation from a soundtrack or music-video upload.
Why there is no definitive “best” list here
The available reporting confirms a substantial fan response, but it does not establish a complete or stable editorial ranking of individual YouTube covers and dance videos. The Associated Press reported on July 29, 2025, that fans were making art, covers, cosplay, and choreography in response to the film. That supports the existence of the fan scene, not a claim that any particular upload is the best.
The scale of the soundtrack’s reach helps explain the attention without settling which fan performances deserve a recommendation. Netflix’s 2026 one-year-anniversary article reported more than 600 million views since the film’s June 20, 2025 debut, 4.6 billion social impressions, and 2.3 billion social impressions for the official “Golden” lyric video. These are Netflix-reported figures, not measures of the quality or popularity of individual fan videos.
