S.W.A.T. Season 7 premiered in the United States on February 16, 2024, and ran for 13 episodes. Although CBS first announced it as the show’s final season, the network renewed the series for Season 8 on April 11, 2024, so Season 7 was not the series finale.
When did S.W.A.T. Season 7 premiere?
Season 7 premiered on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 8/7c on CBS in the United States. The season had been pushed back from the fall schedule amid the writers’ and actors’ strikes. CBS listed the season’s Friday broadcast window as 8:00–9:00 p.m. ET/PT in its April 2024 announcement. These are historical U.S. schedule details, not a current broadcast listing. CBS’s renewal announcement and TV Guide’s February 2024 preview give the timing and schedule context.

Who is in the Season 7 cast?
The principal cast and their characters included:

- Alex Russell as Jim Street
- Kenny Johnson as Dominique Luca
- Jay Harrington as David “Deacon” Kay
- David Lim as Victor Tan
- Patrick St. Esprit as Robert Hicks
- Rochelle Aytes as Nichelle Carmichael
- Anna Enger Ritch as Officer Zoe Powell
Russell and Johnson were recurring cast members during this 13-episode season, rather than series regulars; the cast list should not be read as a promise that each appeared in every episode. Was Season 7 the final season?
Not in the end. CBS initially presented Season 7 as the final run after reversing an earlier cancellation decision in May 2023. On April 11, 2024, the network renewed S.W.A.T. for the 2024–2025 broadcast season, making Season 7 no longer the series’ last season in the renewal timeline. CBS Entertainment president Amy Reisenbach called the renewal a “dramatic twist” leading to an eighth season in the renewal announcement.
Where can you watch Season 7?
Streaming and purchase options depend on territory and can change. In its April 11, 2024 announcement, CBS said Season 7 was available on Paramount+ under the terms then in effect: live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand the day after broadcast for Paramount+ Essential subscribers. Those are historical terms, so check the current catalog and subscription conditions in your country before relying on them.

Sony’s Japanese Season 7 catalog listed digital rental or purchase through Amazon Japan, U-NEXT, Video Market, Rakuten TV, Hulu Japan, and Lemino, and cautioned that availability could vary by service. That Japan-specific listing does not establish availability in the United States or a service’s present-day catalog.
