Ed Sheeran has said he keeps a Volvo and a Mini where he lives, and that he bought an Aston Martin DB6 for an electric conversion. But the DB6 had not arrived after about five years when he discussed it, so it should not be presented as a car he currently drives. Other vehicles appear in media lists, not in a verified account of his present-day collection.
What Ed Sheeran has said about his cars
In an interview with Throwing Fits, Sheeran described having “a Volvo and a Mini” where he lives. He did not identify either vehicle’s model year or trim, and the remark establishes what he said at the time of that interview—not a complete or current inventory.
The Volvo and Mini
Sheeran’s first-person account is the clearest evidence for these two vehicles. It does not establish whether he owns additional cars or whether the Volvo and Mini remain in his possession today.
The electric-conversion Aston Martin DB6
In the same interview, Sheeran said he had bought an Aston Martin DB6 and arranged for it to be converted to electric power. He also said it had taken about five years and that he still had not received it. The account describes a purchase and conversion project, not a delivered car or one he was then driving. The interview does not establish whether the conversion was later completed.

The Aston Martin DB9 story
A 2025 report by 24ur.com recounts a story about Sheeran’s first car, an Aston Martin DB9, stalling after he drove through deep water. This is a secondary account in the material available here; it is best described as a reported anecdote rather than treated as a directly verified statement from Sheeran.
The DB9 story and the DB6 project have different evidentiary footing: the former is a 2025 outlet’s account of a first-car story, while Sheeran personally discussed buying the DB6 and waiting for its conversion. Neither account establishes his current ownership of either Aston Martin.

Other cars named in media lists
An Auto.it article about Sheeran’s cars names a Ferrari 488 GTB, Ferrari 812 Superfast, Audi Q7 and Mercedes-AMG G63, among other vehicles. These are claims in a secondary collection list, not a verified current ownership register. They should not be presented as cars Sheeran definitely owns now.
That distinction matters because “reported in a collection article” is not the same as “confirmed by Sheeran” or “currently owned.” The first-person interview supports the Volvo, Mini and DB6 project statements; the additional models remain attributed media claims.
