The film, starring David Corenswet as Superman, was scheduled to reach theaters on July 11, 2025—a date that has now passed.
What the announcement established
The reveal was a marketing milestone for Gunn’s film, not an announcement of a separately available print. ComicBook.com reported the debut date, Corenswet’s casting and the planned theatrical date. Its report does not establish poster dimensions, a physical edition, or whether an official poster is currently available to buy.
The report also identifies All-Star Superman as an influence on the film. That is useful context for the project, but it does not mean the teaser poster itself depicts or adapts a particular scene from the comic.
Gunn’s view of Superman
In the same report, Gunn described the character’s moral character: “There are really good — almost saintly — people and Superman is among them.” The quote is commentary on the film’s approach to Superman, not a description of the poster.
