There is no single audited ranking of the biggest shows across streaming services this week. In Television Stats’ attention-score chart for September 30–October 6, 2026, East of Eden leads the listed titles, while Amazon’s separate worldwide Prime Original chart names Neagley its most-watched Prime Original series for September 28–October 4. Those are different measures and periods. For October 5–11, release guides also point to new and returning shows, which are not the same thing as popularity rankings.
Shows attracting attention: September 30–October 6
Television Stats ranks shows by average daily Attention Score. Its scores describe attention within that publisher’s chart; they are not viewing totals, audience counts, or a comparable all-platform measurement. The table shows the titles and figures reported in its roundup.
| Show | Service | Average daily Attention Score | Peak-day score | Week-over-week change |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| East of Eden | Netflix | 130 | 162 | +1506% |
| Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story | Netflix | 44.3 | 61.7 | −56% |
| Ted Lasso | Apple TV | 42.5 | 68.2 | +21% |
| Slow Horses | Apple TV | 34.8 | 46.7 | −2.8% |
| MobLand | Paramount+ | 32.7 | 38.6 | −5.1% |
| The Gentlemen | Netflix | 28.2 | 31.0 | −30% |
| Widow’s Bay | Apple TV | 23.6 | 27.4 | −33% |
| Neagley | Prime Video | 23.0 | 28.7 | −44% |
On the same Television Stats chart, East of Eden had the highest average daily score among the titles shown here. Its reported +1506% change is relative to the previous week in that metric, not a claim about a corresponding rise in viewers. Television Stats also reported network-level average daily Attention Scores of 244 for Netflix and 178 for Apple TV during September 30–October 6; these, too, are publisher-defined scores rather than audience totals. See Television Stats’ weekly network roundup.
The chart includes American Horror Story and another title beyond the eight named in its summary. The figures here are therefore not presented as a complete top ten.

Prime Video’s separate worldwide list: September 28–October 4

Amazon says its list counts worldwide Prime Video accounts that watched each title; for series, an account qualifies after watching any available season. The in-app rankings use a shorter time period and country-specific data, so they may differ. This platform-reported account ranking cannot be directly compared with Television Stats’ Attention Scores. Read Amazon’s Prime Video weekly list.

New and returning shows scheduled for October 5–11
Release guides offer a different answer to “what’s big this week”: titles arriving or returning, rather than shows already drawing attention in a chart. Their selections and availability depend on the market they cover.
Tom’s Guide’s weekly selection
Tom’s Guide’s October 5 roundup highlights a new take on Carrie, Treasure Island, Below, and NCIS: New York. It specifies that episode one of NCIS: New York premiered Tuesday, October 6, at 9 p.m. ET. This is the guide’s editorial selection, not an audience ranking. See Tom’s Guide’s October 5–11 picks.

Netflix and Apple TV appear among Television Stats’ cited attention leaders, and Prime Video has a distinct platform-owned weekly list. The cited cross-platform attention leaders do not establish a current Max show among those leaders; there is no basis here to add one simply to fill out a service-by-service list. Nor do the charts establish that one platform has the most total viewers: the metrics, periods, and scopes differ.
