On March 21, 2024, Star Wars merchandise for May the 4th was revealed under the “March to May the 4th” and “Imperial March” banners. The historical lineup ranged from a limited Darth Maul lightsaber hilt to action figures, apparel, a watch, a book collection, and blue milk. The items had different release dates and sellers; the 2024 announcement does not establish what is in stock now.
The headline collectible: Darth Maul’s Legacy lightsaber hilt
The standout was the Darth Maul Legacy Lightsaber Hilt and Collector’s Box Set, reported by Chip and Company as limited to 7,000 units. The set included a wooden collector’s box with lighting effects, and the hilt played a segment of “Duel of the Fates.” When two compatible Legacy LIGHTSABER Blades were attached, the hilt produced red illumination and sound effects. The blades were sold separately, so the set alone was not the complete illuminated display configuration.
The 2024 article said the set would be available from Disney Store and at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort beginning May 4, 2024. Those are historical release details, not confirmation of present-day stock. Gizmodo’s March 21, 2024 coverage also identified the Maul collectible as a central part of the reveal.
Figures and toys for play or display
The Black Series Dark Side Pack
Hasbro’s Black Series Dark Side Pack grouped Darth Vader, Grand Admiral Thrawn, and General Grievous in concept-art deco. Chip and Company linked to an Amazon listing. The article establishes the product and its characters, but not current price, inventory, or whether a live listing still represents the same item.
Other toys in the reveal
The broader selection included a Fisher-Price Darth Vader Bot and Hasbro figures such as Force N’ Telling Vader, Baylan Skoll, and Mae. For miniature vehicle fans, Jazwares’ Bongo Sub and N-1 Starfighter were among the items named. The article also identified retailer distinctions for some figures, including Walmart and Target exclusives; those distinctions applied to the original offer and should not be treated as current availability guarantees.

Disney Store and Disney Parks merchandise included May the 4th and The Phantom Menace anniversary apparel and collectibles. Other pieces in the roundup came from Girls Crew jewelry, RSVLTS, and Amazon Merch. The range was broader than the “dark side” theme implied by the headline: it included anniversary designs and assorted Star Wars apparel alongside character-focused pieces.
A Citizen Imperial Stormtrooper Eco-Drive watch also appeared in the lineup. The source describes it as part of the 2024 merchandise reveal but does not provide a verified current price or ongoing availability.

Blue milk and a Parks-only Stormtrooper bucket
The food-and-drink highlight was Star Wars TruMoo Blue Milk. The roundup also featured a Disney Parks Salvaged Stormtrooper Helmet Bucket and described its availability as location-specific. That matters for anyone looking for the bucket: it was not presented as a general, universally available retail item, and the historical article does not confirm where it can be found today.

A book collection for Vader’s Castle
Vader’s Castle – The Deluxe Library Collection was listed as available for preorder ahead of a September 24, 2024 arrival date. Penguin Random House maintains a catalog page for the title: Vader’s Castle – The Deluxe Library Collection. The date and preorder note describe the 2024 release schedule, not present availability.

The reveal was a multi-retailer preview, not a single collection with one release date or current point of sale. Its practical differences were the kind of item, its intended use, and whether a retailer or extra accessory shaped the purchase:
- For an illuminated display: the Maul hilt set was the focal collectible, but the compatible blades were separate purchases.
- For figures: the Dark Side Pack bundled Vader, Thrawn, and Grievous; other figures and toys appeared through Hasbro, Fisher-Price, and Jazwares.
- For wearable merchandise: the lineup included apparel, jewelry, and a Stormtrooper-themed Citizen watch.
- For themed food, drink, or a Parks souvenir: TruMoo Blue Milk and the location-specific Salvaged Stormtrooper Helmet Bucket were among the unusual entries.
