Star Tours – The Adventures Continue added story material inspired by Ahsoka, Andor and The Mandalorian on April 5, 2024, at Walt Disney World, Disneyland and Disneyland Paris. The update introduced possible transmissions from Ahsoka Tano, Cassian Andor, Din Djarin and Grogu, as well as a destination associated with Ahsoka: Seatos. These are possibilities within a variable ride, not characters every guest is guaranteed to encounter.
What changed in the 2024 Star Tours update?
Disney Experiences announced the additions on March 5, 2024, and said they would begin April 5 at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort and Disneyland Paris. The new story material drew on three Disney+ series: Ahsoka, Andor and The Mandalorian. Disney’s announcement named Ahsoka Tano, Cassian Andor, Din Djarin and Grogu as characters whose transmissions guests might encounter, and identified Seatos as a new destination linked to Ahsoka.
Disney said riders would have the opportunity to experience “one of more than 250 storyline variations.” That is Disney Experiences’ figure from its 2024 announcement, not an independently verified count. Scott Trowbridge of Disney Experiences described the goal as keeping the parks’ Star Wars experiences “evolving alongside that expanding galaxy far, far away.”
Can you see Ahsoka, Andor or the Mandalorian?
Those characters and their stories are among the material that can appear, but the update does not mean each flight includes all of them—or any particular named character. Star Tours combines scenes into different storyline variations. The reviewed official information does not establish current scene probabilities or a complete present-day list for every resort.

Disney’s announcement ties the additions to the three series, but it does not promise a specific sequence for an individual ride. If you are hoping to see a particular character, treat it as a possibility rather than a guaranteed encounter unless the resort is advertising a clearly dated special version.
Is Star Tours the same at every Disney park?
The 2024 announcement covered Walt Disney World, Disneyland and Disneyland Paris. Tokyo Disney Resort later promoted a separate, time-limited special version, so it is useful to distinguish the shared story additions from temporary, location-specific programming.

What happened with Tokyo’s special version?
Tokyo Disney Resort ran its special version from April 8 through June 30, 2025. Its event information described characters and planets from Ahsoka, Andor and The Mandalorian, including a flight over Seatos among purrgil. After the event ended, the resort said those new character and planet scenes became part of the randomly selected adventures. That supports expecting them as possible scenes at Tokyo, not as a guaranteed part of every ride.
A later Disney Parks Blog roundup, published May 24, 2026, described a limited Tokyo period with guaranteed Mandalorian and Grogu scenes through June 30, 2026. That date has passed. The dated promotion should not be mistaken for a continuing guarantee.

How long is the ride, and who can ride?
Tokyo Disneyland’s official attraction listing, accessed October 8, 2026, gives a ride duration of about 4.5 minutes, capacity of 40 people and a minimum height of 102 cm. Its guidance cautions against riding for guests with certain health conditions, expectant guests, older guests and guests prone to motion sickness. These are Tokyo-specific details; check the official attraction guidance for the resort you plan to visit.

- Confirm the attraction’s current details and restrictions on the official page for your destination; Tokyo’s height and ride-time figures should not be applied automatically to other parks.
- Check whether your visit overlaps with a specifically advertised special version, and note its end date. A dated promotion is different from scenes that are part of a randomly selected pool.
- Plan around the ride’s variable storytelling: a series, planet or character being included in the available material does not ensure it will appear during your flight.
Tokyo Disney Resort also promoted a Grogu pin connected to its 2025 special-version event. The event merchandise information documents that past promotion, but does not establish current stock or availability.
