Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is divided on Disney’s current guide map into six lands: Main Street, U.S.A.; Adventureland; Frontierland; Liberty Square; Fantasyland; and Tomorrowland. The map helps visitors locate attractions, dining, shopping and guest services, with the lands arranged around the central castle area and the park entrance.
What are the lands in Magic Kingdom?
The six names below are the labels on Disney’s Magic Kingdom guide map. It functions as both an overview of the park and a directory: symbols identify attractions, dining, shopping, guest services and other visitor facilities. Use the map to understand where areas sit in relation to the castle and entrance; it does not establish walking distances or a universally best route.
What is in each land at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom?
Main Street, U.S.A.
The entrance area includes guest services, Town Square Theater, dining and shopping listed on the map. It is one of the six named lands and a useful point of reference when reading the park layout.
Adventureland
The map places Pirates of the Caribbean in Adventureland. Check the current map for the full attraction and venue directory, since offerings and names may change.

How to use the map while planning a visit
- Find the area first. Use the land labels to orient yourself around the castle and entrance.
- Check the map symbols. The map identifies attractions as well as dining, shopping and guest services, so it can answer more than where a ride is located.
- Confirm details close to your visit. Park offerings, names and operations can change; check Disney’s current map and attraction pages rather than relying on an older copy.
Current railroad access and refurbishment information
Disney’s Walt Disney World Railroad page describes a modified route during the Magic Kingdom expansion, temporarily connecting Main Street, U.S.A. and Fantasyland. The same page says the attraction is expected to close temporarily for routine refurbishment beginning September 28 and reopen in November 2026. Those dates and operating details are time-sensitive, so check the live page before traveling.
Disney describes the railroad as a vintage narrow-gauge steam train originally built between 1916 and 1928. The page does not state a publication year for that construction-era range.
