Jennifer Lawrence’s Real Estate Portfolio: What She Owns and What She Sold

As of Architectural Digest’s January 21, 2026 report, Jennifer Lawrence and her husband, Cooke Maroney, still owned a townhouse in New York City’s West Village, bought in 2020 for about $21.9 million. Her reported property history also includes homes in Beverly Hills, on Manhattan’s Upper East Side and in Tribeca. Those past homes have been sold; her parents’ former Santa Monica home was a family property, not a documented personal purchase by Lawrence.

Where does Jennifer Lawrence live?

The latest residence claim in the reports covered here is that Lawrence and Maroney still owned their West Village townhouse as of Architectural Digest’s January 21, 2026 overview. The article describes a four-bedroom home arranged across two floors, with a landscaped garden and access to shared gym, sauna and garage facilities. It reports that the couple paid about $21.9 million for the townhouse unit in 2020. Architectural Digest’s overview is the source for that ownership and property description; it is a dated report, not a live title record.

Lawrence has also been associated with properties in California and elsewhere in Manhattan, but the reported sales below mean they should not be treated as current homes. The available accounts document a public timeline, not a complete inventory of direct or indirect property interests.

Homes Lawrence has sold

Beverly Hills: a sale followed by a new owner’s listing

Lawrence bought the five-bedroom Beverly Hills house in 2014 for about $8.2 million. Architectural Digest describes a roughly 5,500-square-foot property with five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms. Realtor.com reported that it sold off-market in September 2025 for $11 million. Its account says records connected the holding to a trust named for Lawrence’s father, suggesting the property may have been used as a home for her parents; that is an inference, not confirmation of who lived there. Realtor.com’s September 2025 sale report treats Lawrence as a former owner.

On April 1, 2026, Realtor.com reported the house back on the market with an $11.5 million asking price. That was a later owner’s listing, not a new purchase by Lawrence, and an asking price is not a sale price. The report identifies the home as being in Hidden Valley Estates and describes it as French traditional in style, at about 5,500 square feet. The listing status and price may change. Upper East Side: a penthouse sold below its asking price

Lawrence bought a Manhattan penthouse in 2016 for $15.6 million. The 4,072-square-foot residence had three bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms and about 3,000 square feet of outdoor space, according to Architectural Digest. It was listed in 2019 for $15.45 million and sold in early 2020 for $9.9 million. The sale price was therefore distinct from both the original purchase price and the later asking price; those figures describe separate transactions, not an estimate of the property’s value today. Architectural Digest’s property timeline

Tribeca: loft listed in 2022, sold in 2023

Lawrence bought a 3,184-square-foot Tribeca loft in 2017 for a reported $9,034,697. Its reported features included three bedrooms, a private elevator, garage access, exposed historic beams, and access to an indoor pool and fitness amenities in the building. It was listed in September 2022 for $10.5 million, then sold in early 2023 for a reported $9.8 million. The $10.5 million figure was the asking price, not the proceeds from the later sale. Architectural Digest’s overview reports the purchase and sale; Realtor.com’s September 2022 listing report covers the asking price and property details.

A family home, not a personal Lawrence purchase

Santa Monica townhouse

Before her 2010 breakthrough in Winter’s Bone, Lawrence lived in a Santa Monica townhouse. Architectural Digest reports that her parents bought the two-bedroom, 1,413-square-foot home in 2006 for $879,000 and sold it in 2016 for $1.15 million. The transaction belongs to her parents; the report does not establish that Lawrence personally owned the property. Architectural Digest’s overview

What the reported portfolio can—and cannot—tell you

The accounts show a sequence of purchases, listings and sales, plus one townhouse the January 2026 report says Lawrence and Maroney still owned. They do not establish every property interest held directly or through a trust or other entity, or provide a current independent valuation of the West Village home or any portfolio-wide total. The purchase and sale figures should not be added together or treated as a present-day valuation.

Architectural Digest also reports that, speaking to The New Yorker in October 2025 about New York City, Lawrence said, “Nobody gives a s–t,” and “I love this city.” The comments were attributed to Lawrence through Architectural Digest’s account; they do not independently verify her residence or ownership.
