I Really Love My Husband follows newlyweds Teresa and Drew on a delayed honeymoon in Panama, where Teresa’s interest in their rental host, Paz, unsettles the couple’s trip. Collider’s exclusive preview, published March 6, 2025, arrived the day before the film’s world premiere at SXSW.
What happens in the sneak peek?
The preview sets up the couple’s journey to their tropical destination. Collider’s indexed excerpt highlights an incident involving a keto bar and an allergic passenger, with the line “He took the blame for our keto bar.” The excerpt offers a glimpse of the trip’s awkward complications, but it does not establish the film’s overall tone or how the story ends.
