How many signatures did the petition reach?
EntertainmentNOW reported more than 18,500 signatures on June 16, 2026, and said the petition had gained more than 1,000 in the preceding day. A June 18 update put it above 20,000 and nearing 22,000. By the June 21 finale, it had passed 26,200, according to a report published the following day. These are dated reported totals, not independently audited measurements; the live Change.org petition count can change.

Did signatures quadruple in less than a week?
The dated reports establish quick growth, but they do not provide the exact starting count and time interval needed to independently verify a fourfold increase. The “quadrupled in less than a week” wording should therefore be treated as a headline claim, not as a multiplier confirmed by the available dated snapshots.
What is the petition asking for?
The petition, created November 8, 2025, asks Hallmark to renew The Way Home for a fifth season. If Hallmark does not continue it, the campaign names Netflix or Fox as possible alternatives. Those are fan-requested destinations, not announced homes: there is no confirmed renewal, acquisition, or competing offer in the cited coverage.

Is season 4 the last season of The Way Home?
Hallmark’s official series news identifies season four as the final season. Post-finale coverage reports that it concluded on June 21, 2026. Fan support and public expressions of appreciation do not change that status unless a network or distributor announces a continuation.
Actor Chyler Leigh, who plays Kat Landry, praised the fans’ support, and showrunner Alexandra Clarke said Ponderers had shown up for the series since its first day. Their comments, as reported by EntertainmentNOW, express gratitude; neither is a promise of a fifth season.

Could Netflix or Fox save the series?
The petition’s mention of Netflix and Fox shows where its supporters would like the series to go if Hallmark does not renew it. It does not show that either has agreed to take it on. Until an official announcement identifies a new season and its distributor, a move to another outlet remains a request rather than a plan.
