What sparked the falling out?
The conflict centered on TJ disclosing Joe’s reported hookup with Luann. Bravo’s account of TJ’s explanation says he framed the disclosure as honesty with the group and tied it to Joe’s relationship with Maddi, who was dating him at the time. TJ also cited Joe’s past infidelities as a reason he believed Maddi should know.

That explanation helps clarify TJ’s position, but it does not establish how Joe privately understood the disclosure or prove that honesty was TJ’s only motive.
Why did the disclosure carry extra weight?
The Luann hookup was linked to Joe’s breakup with Danielle
Bravo connected Joe’s encounter with Luann to the end of his relationship with Danielle Olivera. That history made the disclosure more consequential than a piece of cast gossip: it touched an earlier relationship story, too.

There was an older Salley and Gaston incident
Joe and TJ’s friendship already had a history involving sensitive romantic information. In its account of Joe’s earlier storyline, Bravo recalls that TJ told Joe that Salley had made out with Joe’s roommate, Gaston Rojas. This was a separate incident from the Luann hookup; it helps explain why another disclosure from TJ could land badly, but does not establish either man’s full interpretation of their friendship.
Did Joe and TJ try to repair their friendship?
Yes, at least on camera. In a preview for Season 3, Episode 5, Bravo showed the men discussing the disintegration of their friendship and trying to decide how to move forward. The preview headline quotes Joe: “I Can Be a Better Friend.” It signals a repair attempt, not proof that the friendship was restored.

Are Joe and TJ friends now?
The official coverage cited here does not verify their current relationship status. The Season 3 conversation documents an effort to address the falling out; later Bravo coverage about Joe and Maddi does not settle whether Joe and TJ are friends today. It would be premature to describe them as reconciled or permanently estranged on this evidence.
