Netflix carried both seasons during a US licensing window in 2025; it is not the current US streaming listing identified here. As of October 8, 2026, Paramount+ lists the series in the US. Streaming catalogs vary by region and can change, so check the service in your location.
What is Extant about?
Berry plays astronaut Molly Woods, who returns to Earth after a 13-month solo space expedition. Her husband, John, is a robotics engineer, and their son Ethan is a prototype android known as a Humanich. Molly is inexplicably pregnant despite having been alone in space, and she tries to discover what happened on her mission as the mystery puts her family at risk. The series combines space exploration, family drama, artificial intelligence and a continuing mystery.

Where can I watch Extant?
For US viewers, Paramount+’s official Extant page lists the series, and its episode guide covers both seasons. A US availability snapshot checked October 8, 2026, also reported streaming through Paramount+ services and digital purchase on Amazon Video, plus DVD and Blu-ray purchase options; those listings are a dated third-party guide, not a guarantee of current stock or access outside the US. Check the relevant service or retailer for current availability and price.
Is Extant on Netflix?
Netflix’s 2025 article confirms that both seasons were available there during that period. A July 2025 report described the US arrival as a limited-time license, but an exact removal date has not been established here. Netflix is therefore a past viewing window, not a verified current US destination. Availability on Netflix can differ by country and date.
