What Millie Bobby Brown’s blonde look was like
In early February 2025, Brown appeared with bleach-blonde hair, a change from her familiar mid-brown shade. Vogue reported on February 5, 2025 that Hershesons colorist Veronica Wysocka created the shade.
Teen Vogue described the reveal on February 2, 2025 as loose, tousled waves with long curtain bangs. The styling gave the lighter color a soft, undone finish rather than a sharply structured look.
Why did Millie Bobby Brown go blonde?
When the look first appeared, its reason had not been established. Brown later connected it to a 1990s-themed press tour in an interview with British Vogue, with stylist Ryan Young involved. The reporting supports that press-tour context; it does not establish that the transformation was for a new acting role.

Is Millie Bobby Brown still blonde?
No. In the British Vogue interview, Brown said she had dyed the blonde back to her typical mahogany shade. A later Vogue report dated January 19, 2026 described her with a jaw-grazing bob in a lighter brunette color. The blonde transformation is a past look, not a reliable description of her current hair.
How the 2025 look differs from her earlier blonde appearance
Brown had also appeared blonde in 2022, in a separate Barbie-inspired transformation covered by ABC News/GMA on February 21, 2022. That appearance and the 2025 press-tour look are distinct moments:

What is known about the color process
Vogue named Wysocka as the colorist for the 2025 shade, but the cited coverage does not identify a retail dye, toner, salon formula, or maintenance routine Brown used. The transformation is therefore useful as a reference for its color and styling, not as a product-by-product recipe.
