Stick, Apple TV’s golf-centered sports comedy starring Owen Wilson, is returning for Season 2 on November 4, 2026. The season begins with two episodes, then releases weekly through December 30.
When does Stick Season 2 premiere?
Apple announced on August 20, 2026, that Season 2 premieres Wednesday, November 4, 2026, on Apple TV. Two episodes will be available on premiere day, followed by one new episode each week through December 30, 2026. Apple’s series page confirms the November 4 return date.
What is Stick about?
Created by Jason Keller, Stick is a sports comedy set in the world of golf. Owen Wilson plays Pryce Cahill, a former professional golfer whose career ended prematurely about 20 years earlier. After his marriage collapses and he is working at an Indiana sporting-goods store, Pryce puts his hopes in Santi, a gifted but troubled 17-year-old golfer. Apple describes the story as one of found family as well as golf.
Who is in the Season 2 cast?
Apple says Wilson, Peter Dager, Marc Maron, Mariana Treviño, Lilli Kay, Judy Greer, and Timothy Olyphant return. Rhea Seehorn joins in a supporting role. The Season 2 announcement also names John Higgins, Billy Zane, Rex Linn, Sasha Alexander, and Missi Pyle among the additional cast. Apple Studios is the studio, with Keller continuing as creator and showrunner.

What did “#1” mean?
The “#1” label comes from BGR’s July 25, 2025 article, which said Stick had held the top spot in the Apple TV+ app for several weeks at that time. The article does not provide a viewing figure or explain how the chart measured rank. It should be read as a dated report, not as evidence that Stick is currently Apple TV’s No. 1 show or as an independently verified audience statistic. Apple’s announcement of Season 2 does not supply a viewership count. BGR’s report also reproduced a statement from creator Jason Keller saying he was inspired by the audience response and thrilled to make another season with the cast and Apple creative team.
