Swift wrote: “SUMMER OF SABRINA AND MAY IT CONTINUE FOREVER.”
What Taylor Swift said
Swift left the message in the comments on Carpenter’s Instagram post. It was a brief public congratulations, not a separate interview statement. ABC News reported the exchange on July 5, 2024, reproducing Swift’s comment and summarizing the post.

Carpenter’s post celebrated two milestones: her Short n’ Sweet North American tour had sold out, and “Espresso” had reached No. 1 at pop radio.
Why the two performers were connected
Carpenter had opened multiple shows on Swift’s Eras Tour between August 2023 and March 2024. After that run, Carpenter publicly thanked Swift for the opportunity and support, according to ABC News’s July 5, 2024 report.
