When did Tallulah Willis announce her engagement?
Willis shared the news in a joint Instagram post with Acee on Monday, Dec. 23, 2024. The Los Angeles Times and ABC News reported the announcement the following day. The announcement date is established; the reports do not give a precise date for the proposal itself.
Willis captioned the post, “everyday @justinacee.” The Los Angeles Times described Acee as a musician who performs under the name Nighties.
What did the engagement post show?
ABC News described photographs of the couple and Willis’s ring, along with a video of a candlelit walkway scattered with rose petals. The Los Angeles Times described the ring as a golden infinity band capped by diamonds. In the proposal clip, Acee can be heard saying, “we did it” and “a team effort,” as reported by the Times.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Rumer Willis wrote, “The most beautiful love to witness and watch grow,” while Scout Willis posted, “My angels are engagedddddddddddddd.” ABC News separately reported that Rumer shared an Instagram Story saying, “Baby Sis is Engaged.”

Who is Justin Acee, and when did the couple meet?
Acee is a musician who performs as Nighties, according to the Los Angeles Times’ Dec. 24, 2024, report. That article said it was unclear when the couple began dating. A later account by El País reported that they matched on Hinge a week before meeting at a Delta airport terminal in January 2023; that chronology comes from the later publication.
