Eddie Edwards earned a TNA World Championship opportunity in the January 29, 2026, Feast or Fired reveal, then confronted champion Mike Santana. Steve Maclin drew the case that meant he was fired in the storyline—not that TNA had announced a real-world employment decision. Trey Miguel and Eric Young also received championship opportunities, while Rich Swann defeated AJ Francis in the No Holds Barred main event.
Feast or Fired: who got each case?
The four case outcomes were the episode’s central development. Each case carried a different consequence: three awarded title opportunities, while one meant a storyline firing.

What happened with Alisha Edwards and The System?
The opening segment featured Eddie Edwards with Brian Myers, Cedric Alexander and Bear Bronson. Alisha Edwards interrupted, said she had not known about the group’s prior plan, and raised the uncertainty around her upcoming contract and whether she would re-sign with The System. POST Wrestling reports that she walked out. This was storyline material, not a report about a real contract decision.
