Prime Video’s fall 2026 slate includes a newly released adaptation of Carrie, several October series premieres and a Halloween comedy special. As of October 8, Carrie is already available; the other October titles below are scheduled for October 14–23. Amazon has also listed Fallout Season 2 for December, without announcing a specific day.
Prime Video shows and specials arriving in October 2026
These dates come from Amazon’s U.S. October guide. “Upcoming” reflects the schedule as of October 8, 2026; release dates and local availability can change.
| Title | Date and status | Format | What to expect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Carrie | October 7 — newly available | Television series | Stephen King’s debut novel gets its first television-series adaptation. Carrie White is a misfit high-schooler whose life with her fiercely protective mother shifts after her father’s death, a return to public school, bullying and social-media cruelty, and the emergence of telekinetic powers. |
| Helluva Boss, Season 3 | October 14 — upcoming | Returning animated series | Blitzo and his Immediate Murder Professionals crew return to their underworld workplace. Amazon teases relationship complications and old enemies. |
| Love of Your Life | October 14 — upcoming | Romance series | Directed by Rachel Morrison, it follows Maya, played by Margaret Qualley, after a chance encounter with Charlie, played by Gabriel Basso, changes the future she had imagined. |
| Masterplan | October 16 — upcoming | Heist series | Stanley Tucci plays a legendary thief who recruits a cybercrime expert and an explosives specialist to steal the Mona Lisa. He then reveals that the specialists are long-lost siblings—and his children. |
| Love in Disguise | October 19 — upcoming | Series | Based on the web novel Why Don’t You Know It’s a Girl?, it follows former special-forces officer turned police detective Kang Jae-hee, assigned to protect and investigate murder suspect Yoon Yi-jun, an heir to a powerful conglomerate. |
| The Terminal List, Season 2 | October 21 — upcoming | Returning action series; all eight episodes release together | Chris Pratt returns as Navy SEAL Commander James Reece in a season based on Jack Carr’s second novel, True Believer. Amazon describes a conspiracy stretching from Moscow to Langley and Reece’s journey across Africa, the Middle East and Europe. |
| Last One Laughing UK: Halloween | October 23 — upcoming | Halloween special | Familiar faces try to make their opponents laugh or scream; either reaction eliminates a contestant. It is a special, not a regular season. |
Amazon says The Terminal List Season 2 is exclusive to Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories. Its dedicated season page says the franchise has accumulated more than 100 million viewers worldwide to date; that is Amazon’s figure, not an independent audience measurement. Chris Pratt, the series’ actor and executive producer, describes the season as “a love letter to the Special Operations community.”
What else is coming later in fall?
Fallout Season 2: December
Amazon’s forward-looking lineup places Fallout Season 2 in December 2026, but does not give a premiere day. The video-game adaptation is set to take viewers through the Mojave to New Vegas, and Amazon says the series has been renewed for Season 3.

September releases already on the calendar
For a wider view of the season, Amazon’s September guide lists Neagley, a Reacher-universe series starring Maria Sten as a Chicago private investigator, for September 16. It is a show, unlike the September 18 film You+Me – Against the World and September 23 film The Love Hypothesis, which are outside this guide’s focus on shows.
Which October title should you try?
- For horror and a classic adaptation: Start with the newly available Carrie, adapted from Stephen King’s debut novel.
- For animation: Helluva Boss Season 3 continues Blitzo’s underworld workplace story.
- For romance: Love of Your Life centers on a chance encounter, while Love in Disguise combines a protective assignment, a murder investigation and a conglomerate heir.
- For a crime caper: Masterplan pairs a Mona Lisa heist with a family reveal.
- For a complete season drop: All eight episodes of The Terminal List Season 2 arrive together on October 21.
- For a one-off Halloween watch: Choose Last One Laughing UK: Halloween.
Amazon’s October guide does not state episode counts or release patterns for the other listed titles, so their formats above do not imply a weekly or all-at-once schedule.
