No. Later reporting corrected the viral claim: the account associated with streamer and model Alanya Alisha, who posts as ARUUU, was joking, and Automaton West reported that she was not used as a body model for either Psylocke or Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman. The story began with posts saying her dimensions had been used for both characters; those posts are not evidence of Marvel Rivals’ production process.
What the original claim said
The story surfaced around the reveal of Marvel Rivals’ Season 1 Fantastic Four content. PC Gamer reported on January 8, 2025, that Alisha said she contacted the development team after seeing Sue Storm in the teaser and was told her dimensions had been reused. The report also noted that she had previously described herself as Psylocke’s body model. Those were claims attributed to her posts, not independently verified production facts. PC Gamer’s January 8 report quoted her saying, “Got off the phone with the team & they’ve let me know my dimensions were recycled for a certain invisible lady,”
What later coverage corrected
GamesRadar+ updated its coverage to say the account claiming to be the model for Psylocke and Sue Storm was joking. Automaton West added a correction dated January 10, 2025, stating that ARUUU was not officially affiliated with Marvel and was not used as the body model for either character. GamesRadar+’s updated report and Automaton West’s correction therefore change how the initial posts should be understood: they were a joke, not confirmation of a character-modeling credit.
What is—and is not—confirmed
The available reporting supports a distinction between a viral social-media claim and a verified development credit. The correction is explicit, but it comes from Automaton West’s reporting; the cited coverage does not include a direct statement from Marvel or NetEase. There is consequently no basis here to say Alisha was scanned, hired, officially commissioned, or otherwise involved in making either character.
