How to use the in-game hint
Strands is a word-search-style game: trace letters horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, changing direction as needed to form a word. Theme answers remain highlighted in blue; the spangram, which connects opposite sides of the board, is highlighted in yellow.
- Find three valid words that are not theme answers, each at least four letters long.
- After the third word, the game unlocks a hint that reveals letters from a theme word.
- Use the revealed letters to locate the answer in the grid, connecting adjacent letters in any direction.
