Qué dijo Telemundo sobre el caso
En un segmento publicado el 27 de agosto de 2025, En casa con Telemundo se refirió a las demandas reportadas contra Casanova. El video oficial del programa identifica a Vicente Saavedra, exmanager de Ozuna, como demandante en una reclamación por presunta conducta financiera indebida, y señala que Casanova presentó una contrademanda contra Saavedra por incumplimiento y difamación. Coronel leyó una declaración que, según People en Español, decía: “Con el espíritu de la transparencia que nos caracteriza queremos abordar este próximo tema. Recientemente han surgido varias demandas en contra del esposo de nuestra presentadora Aleyda Ortiz. La última demanda fue por presunto fraude y otras reclamaciones y fue interpuesta por el exmanager de Ozuna, Vicente Saavedra. Por su parte, la pareja de Aleyda interpuso su propia demanda en contra de Vicente por incumplimiento y difamación”. People en Español: la declaración reproducida por el medio.
Por qué el programa no había hablado antes
El programa explicó que hasta entonces no había cubierto el asunto porque Casanova “no es figura pública”. La declaración añadió: “En el momento en que Aleyda tenga algo que decir al respecto ella misma lo va a hacer”. Estas palabras describen la postura del espacio en ese segmento; no son una declaración de Ortiz sobre las demandas.

Qué demandas se reportaron y qué alegan
La demanda de Alejandro Chabán
People en Español informó que Alejandro Chabán había demandado a Casanova, quien había trabajado como consultor financiero para empresas controladas por Chabán. El medio describió alegaciones de ocultamiento fraudulento, hurto civil, apropiación de fondos corporativos y conversión no autorizada. La denuncia, según ese reporte, reclamaba más de 1,6 millones de dólares. Esa cifra corresponde a lo alegado en la demanda, no a una pérdida o deuda establecida judicialmente.
La demanda de Vicente Saavedra y la contrademanda
Saavedra presentó una demanda contra Casanova en la que, según los reportes, alegó fraude y transferencias, retiros y cargos no autorizados. La denuncia habría mencionado que Casanova podía acceder a posibles clientes mediante la visibilidad televisiva de Ortiz. Que el nombre de Ortiz aparezca en una denuncia no demuestra que ella haya cometido una falta ni significa, por sí solo, que fuera demandada.
