Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly held hands and exchanged quick kisses when they attended the soft opening of 1587 Prime, the Kansas City steakhouse Kelce co-founded with Patrick Mahomes, on September 8, 2025. The details came from entertainment-news reporting attributed to sources with direct knowledge; neither Swift nor Kelce publicly confirmed the account.
What was reported at the soft opening?
TMZ reported that Swift and Kelce arrived at about 6:15 p.m. on September 8, spent time with friends and family, and shared hand-holding and quick kisses. Us Weekly repeated the hand-in-hand arrival detail and cited TMZ for the timing. ELLE also summarized TMZ’s account, so the three reports should not be treated as three independent eyewitness confirmations.
TMZ described Swift as wearing a blue denim dress that fell to mid-thigh and wedges, and Kelce as wearing a green striped shirt and cap. The report did not identify brands or specific models.

Does the menu’s “The Alchemy” cocktail mean Swift was involved?
The official menu lists a cocktail called “The Alchemy.” The Kansas City Star reported before the restaurant opened that the name refers to a Taylor Swift song title. That connection does not show that Swift created or endorsed the drink, or that she ordered it during the soft opening.
