Super Bowl LIX was played on February 9, 2025, in New Orleans, where Philadelphia defeated Kansas City 40–22. The live-update page is now a historical roundup, not a current stream. Its linked archive lists 65 videos associated with the 2025 game, including commercials, teasers and movie trailers; that total does not confirm that every video aired nationally during the broadcast.
Where to watch the 2025 Super Bowl ads and trailers
The 2025 Super Bowl ads archive collects 65 videos associated with Super Bowl LIX. It is a useful place to browse the clips, but its count is an archive count—not a verified tally of national in-game commercials. The available information does not establish the exact broadcast order or national-versus-regional status of every clip.

The original event-period live updates are on Tom’s Guide’s Super Bowl ads page. Its quick information listed Fox as the U.S. television channel and Tubi as a free U.S. stream at the time. Those are historical broadcast details; they do not mean the game is still streaming live.

#1 Best Overall
That is a selection of the archive’s listed advertisers and titles, not a complete national airing log. To compare clips accurately, distinguish what kind of video it is, when it appeared, how it was made, and what is known about its placement.
- Campaign type: a brand commercial, regional spot, teaser or film trailer.
- Release timing: a pre-game release or a game-day clip.
- Creative approach: for example, celebrity appearances, humor, nostalgia, product demonstration or a social message.
- Placement evidence: an archive listing, an advertiser’s own account, or independent reporting. These are not interchangeable.
Notable commercials and campaign details
Celebrity-led spots highlighted in the live updates
Tom’s Guide called attention to several star-powered ads: a pickleball spot with Catherine O’Hara and Willem Dafoe; Hellmann’s “When Sally Met Hellmann’s,” featuring Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal; a Ritz commercial with Aubrey Plaza, Michael Shannon and Bad Bunny; and a Jeep ad featuring Harrison Ford. These are examples singled out in the live-update coverage, not a ranking of the year’s ads.
Google’s regional campaign and national spot
iSpot described Google’s 2025 campaign as 51 commercials: 50 regional spots featuring small businesses and one national spot. It characterized the national “Dream Job” ad as a story about a father using Gemini Live to prepare for a job interview. The figures and description are iSpot’s account of Google’s campaign; they do not provide a complete placement record for every video in the archive. See iSpot’s 2025 advertiser tracker.
Anheuser-Busch’s reported ad investment
In a February 6, 2025 company announcement, Anheuser-Busch said it had five ads across Michelob ULTRA, Busch Light, Budweiser, Bud Light and Stella Artois. The company reported three and a half minutes of national advertising and 30 seconds of regional advertising. Those are the advertiser’s own figures, not an independent count of all Super Bowl commercials. Read Anheuser-Busch’s announcement.

The live updates pointed readers to a separate list of movie trailers and teasers. They noted that some films’ in-game spots were short teasers that sent viewers online to see full trailers, rather than full-length trailers shown during the broadcast. Tom’s Guide also reported that studios generally avoided buying broadcast time for full-length trailers. The archive includes titles such as Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts, Universal Pictures’ How to Train Your Dragon and Disney’s Lilo & Stitch.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How many ads aired—and what did a spot cost?
Different figures describe different things, so they should not be treated as competing totals. Superbowl-ads.com lists 65 videos in its archive; iSpot describes 51 commercials in Google’s campaign; and Anheuser-Busch reported its own ad durations and brand count. None of those figures establishes the complete number or order of national spots aired in the game.
Rank #3
CBS News reported that some 30-second spots reportedly sold for $8 million or more. That is a reported media-buy figure, not a universal rate for every Super Bowl slot. The price of airtime also does not establish whether an ad increased sales or changed brand perception. CBS News’ report on 2025 commercials discusses spots released ahead of the game.
Pregame entertainment was separate from the commercials
The NFL announced that Post Malone was scheduled to headline the YouTube Tailgate Concert on the NFL’s YouTube channel before kickoff. That was pregame programming, not one of the commercials. See the NFL announcement.
What the available records can—and can’t—confirm
The archive is a broad collection for browsing, while advertiser announcements and trackers document particular campaigns. Together, they help identify ads and explain selected campaign details, but they do not confirm the national broadcast status of every archived clip or provide a definitive full broadcast order. No independent academic or standards-body study establishing the overall effectiveness of Super Bowl LIX advertising is identified in the sources cited here; ad prices, campaign claims and archive listings are not proof of commercial impact.
