Star Wars: Skeleton Crew premiered on Disney+ on Monday, December 2, 2024, after its initial release date was moved up by one day. The first two episodes arrived together at 6 p.m. Pacific (9 p.m. Eastern) in the United States; subsequent episodes were scheduled for Tuesdays at 6 p.m. Pacific. This is the historical launch schedule, not an upcoming premiere.
What changed about the premiere date?
In November 2024, the planned premiere moved from Tuesday, December 3, to Monday, December 2. The change applied to the opening release of two episodes, rather than a single episode. What’s On Disney Plus reported the revised date and two-episode launch on November 26, 2024; the premiere-trailer description from IGN also announced the December 2 release.
What time did it arrive, and when were later episodes scheduled?
The announced U.S. launch time for the first two episodes was 6 p.m. Pacific, or 9 p.m. Eastern, on December 2. Later episodes were announced for Tuesdays at 6 p.m. Pacific. These times describe the schedule reported at the time of the premiere, not a current Disney+ listing.
For viewers in the UK, Radio Times reported the initial release as 2 a.m. GMT on Tuesday, December 3. The local calendar date therefore differed from the U.S. date. Radio Times’ November 26, 2024 schedule report also described the season as eight episodes.
