How did the embargo relate to the game’s release?
EA announced a global launch for April 28, 2023, two calendar days after the review embargo date. EA’s release-date announcement gave the team six additional weeks before launch. The game initially released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, as StarWars.com reported on launch day.
PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions followed later. EA’s Jedi: Survivor FAQ says those editions became available on September 17, 2024. The review embargo date remains a historical schedule fact, separate from those later platform releases.
