Paramount+ announced the movie on April 18, 2023, with Yeoh returning as Emperor Philippa Georgiou. The film sends Georgiou into a secret division of Starfleet. What else has been announced for the franchise’s 60th anniversary?
In a September 8, 2025 report, the Associated Press described Paramount’s first wave of 60th-anniversary plans as including more shows, LEGO sets and a Rose Parade float. “First wave” matters: those announcements are not a complete slate, and the cited report does not name a full schedule or establish that every plan has since been completed.
