WVTM 13 likewise reported that the deaths were under investigation and that investigators believed they may constitute a murder-suicide. That reporting should not be read as a final determination. WVTM 13’s account identified Chambers and her husband through information attributed to the coroner’s office.
What was reported about the child in the home?
WBRC and WAKA reported that the couple’s three-year-old child was in the home and unharmed. Neither account supports speculation about the child’s experience or circumstances beyond that reported fact. WAKA’s report also described the police response.

WBRC reported that she joined that station in 2015, left her full-time position in July 2021, and later continued as a freelancer on its Sideline football coverage during the 2025 season.
