The official crossover is Magic: The Gathering | Marvel’s Spider-Man. Its tabletop release was September 26, 2025, and Wizards of the Coast’s Card Image Gallery is the canonical place to browse the complete card list and treatments. The original preview season has passed; MTG Arena availability was announced for June 16, 2026.
Where to see the Spider-Man MTG card spoilers
For the full set, start with Wizards’ Card Image Gallery. Wizards describes it as the collection of cards previewed for the set. The images are digital renderings, not photographs of physical cards, so they show the designs and treatments rather than a product snapshot.
The official set name is Magic: The Gathering | Marvel’s Spider-Man. Searching for “Spider-Man MTG card list” or “Spider-Man Magic crossover” should lead to the same set, but the gallery is the primary source for checking individual cards and their visual versions.
What the crossover is and how it tells Spider-Man stories
The set brings Spider-Man’s comic-book world into Magic through character cards and treatments that draw on comic storytelling. In a September 1, 2025 Making Magic article, designer Mark Rosewater described a double-faced Peter Parker // Amazing Spider-Man card as a way to represent the character’s secret identity. He also discussed Saga treatments that present comic pages as sequential panels. As Rosewater put it: “When Spider-Man isn’t stopping crime, he lives his life as Peter Parker.”

The set codes matter: Wizards distinguishes the main set from additional cards. Do not assume every Spider-Man card found in every product is Standard legal.

| Set code | Legality described by Wizards |
|---|---|
| SPM | Main set; Standard legal. |
| SPE and MAR | Eternal-legal for Commander, Legacy and Vintage. Individual cards are also legal in other formats where those cards were already available. |
For limited play, Wizards says SPM and MAR cards in Play Boosters can be used in this set’s Draft and Sealed when opened from those boosters. For a particular card or format, check its card entry and the relevant format rules rather than inferring legality from the product name.
What about MTG Arena and Secret Lair?
MTG Arena
Wizards announced that the set would become available on MTG Arena beginning June 16, 2026. Its announcement says each card has an equivalent already collected by some players in Through the Omenpaths, and that Wizards would issue a one-time grant for equivalent cards in a player’s collection. This describes the publisher’s announced digital availability and collection treatment.
Secret Lair
Wizards also announced a six-drop Secret Lair x Marvel’s Spider-Man Superdrop scheduled for September 22, 2025. The announcement listed cards including Fact or Fiction, Frantic Search, Sol Ring, Command Tower, Damnation and Dark Ritual, with non-foil and foil prices for the relevant drops. It described the drops as limited quantities sold through MagicSecretLair.com; that historical announcement does not establish present availability.
