South Park’s September 30, 2026 episode, “Billionaire Weenietown,” returned to Donald Trump satire, but the available coverage does not establish what viewers broadly thought of it. The episode’s official premise centers on Butters objecting to billionaires building data centers in his neighborhood; entertainment recaps say it also revived the show’s AI deepfake Trump parody.
Which South Park episode is the story about?
The episode is “Billionaire Weenietown,” announced by South Park Studios for Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central. The official synopsis says: “Butters is unhappy with the data centers that the billionaires are building in our backyards.”

The title’s description of the episode as “controversial” is framing, not evidence of a measured audience response. The sources available here do not establish a representative sample of viewer opinions, a verified reaction count, or a consensus.
What happens in the episode?
Butters and neighborhood data centers
The official premise puts Butters’ unhappiness with billionaire-backed data centers at the center of the story. In its September 30 recap, TheWrap says the episode follows Butters and a group of cartoonish billionaire “weenies,” with the facilities affecting electricity in the neighborhood. That additional plot detail is the outlet’s account, rather than part of the official synopsis.

The Trump parody returns
TheWrap also reports that the episode brings back an AI deepfake version of Trump. In an October 1 recap, The Daily Beast describes a final Trump parody scene and interprets the billionaire characters as connected to prominent tech billionaires and their appearances on political podcasts. Those are the publication’s descriptions and interpretation of the satire, not a confirmed statement of the creators’ intent.
What did viewers think?
No representative poll, verified reaction count, or sufficiently examined sample of viewer posts is established by the available sources. That means it would be inaccurate to say that viewers agreed, that backlash was widespread, or that the episode generated a particular consensus. Individual social posts can illustrate specific reactions, but without a defined and examined sample they cannot stand in for the audience as a whole.

No. Paramount Press Express reported that the season 29 premiere drew 4.2 million multiplatform U.S. viewers across Comedy Central and Paramount+. That is a season-premiere figure, not an episode-specific audience total for “Billionaire Weenietown.” The network also said the premiere outperformed the prior season’s premiere by double digits in persons 18–49 rating and share and was the week’s number-one non-sports cable telecast among persons 18–49; those are network-reported claims about the premiere.
