Did Shrinking get a third season?
Apple announced the renewal on October 17, 2024, after season two had premiered. The comedy was co-created by Jason Segel, Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein, and is produced for Apple by Warner Bros. Television with Lawrence’s Doozer Productions. Apple’s renewal announcement included a statement from co-creator and executive producer Bill Lawrence: “I’m so lucky to work on ‘Shrinking’ with actors, writers and a crew so talented that they all elevate the material.”

Calling it Apple’s “best comedy” is a matter of opinion, not a ranking established by the renewal announcement. The series’ premise is distinctive: Jimmy, a grieving therapist played by Segel, starts telling clients exactly what he thinks and disregarding his training and ethics. His choices reshape their lives as well as his own. The show is a comedy about grief and therapy, not a guide to professional clinical practice.
When did season 3 come out, and how many episodes are there?
Season three has 11 episodes. Apple announced a global premiere for January 28, 2026, with a one-hour first episode and one new episode each Wednesday through April 8. Apple’s U.S. catalog lists episode 11, “And That’s Our Time,” as the season finale on April 8, 2026; it runs 34 minutes and carries a TV-MA rating in that U.S. listing. Ratings may differ by territory. Apple’s season-three release announcement and the Apple TV U.S. series listing confirm the schedule and completed run.

Who is in the season-three cast?
Apple named these returning principal cast members: Jason Segel, Harrison Ford, Christa Miller, Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell and Ted McGinley.
Returning guest stars include Brett Goldstein, Damon Wayans Jr., Wendie Malick and Cobie Smulders. New additions named for the season are Jeff Daniels and Michael J. Fox.

Where can you watch Shrinking?
Shrinking streams on Apple TV. Apple’s October 2025 announcement said the first two seasons were also streaming globally on the service. You can watch through the Apple TV app on supported devices, including smart TVs, phones, tablets, computers and streaming devices. Apple TV 4K is one option, not a requirement.
