What the 2023 love horoscopes covered
Kyle Thomas, Allure and Cafe Astrology organized their annual forecasts around zodiac signs and relationship themes. Their coverage included romance and dating alongside sex, intimacy, communication, friendships and partnerships. These were broad Sun-sign readings; Cafe Astrology also recommends consulting the forecast for your Ascendant, if you know it.
The sources present interpretations rather than measured predictions. They do not report shared accuracy tests, retrospective outcome measurements or evidence that astrological events caused particular relationship outcomes.
Kyle Thomas’s astrological themes for 2023
In a forecast published November 29, 2022, astrologer and author Kyle Thomas described the year as a turning point for relationships, writing, “2023 will begin a whole new era when it comes to relationships on a global level.” That was his forecast framing, not an established factual conclusion.

Thomas connected the year’s relationship themes to several planetary and eclipse changes. In his interpretation, Jupiter’s move from Aries into Taurus shifted the emphasis from assertive pursuit toward sensuality and building relationships. He also discussed the end of the Taurus–Scorpio eclipse cycle and the beginning of the Aries–Libra cycle, as well as Venus retrograde in Leo during the summer and Pluto’s temporary move into Aquarius. These are astrological interpretations, not demonstrated causes of individual experiences.
Venus retrograde dates in Allure’s forecast
Allure’s 2023 sign-by-sign horoscope covers love, sex, intimacy, friendship and communication. Its article dates Venus retrograde from July 22 through September 3, 2023, and discusses the period within its zodiac-sign forecasts. Those dates describe the astrological calendar used in the article; they do not establish that relationships experienced a particular effect during that period.
How to use Cafe Astrology’s sign-specific guide
Cafe Astrology’s 2023 Taurus love horoscope illustrates a more detailed annual format: it combines major trends and a sign-specific guide with dated entries labeled “super love” and “potential love challenges.” The publisher states that the listed aspect times are Eastern and that their influence lasts roughly 24–48 hours around the exact aspect. These are Cafe Astrology’s conventions for interpreting aspects, not empirically established relationship windows.
Cafe Astrology advises readers who know their Ascendant to read both the Sun-sign and Ascendant forecasts. This gives readers another sign-based interpretation, but it does not make the forecast an individualized account of a person’s circumstances.

To compare annual love horoscopes without treating them as accuracy rankings, look at what each publication actually provides:

A sign-based annual horoscope is broad by design. Cafe Astrology also lists paid personalized horoscope and romantic compatibility reports, which are a separate category from its general sign forecasts. A personalized report may use more individual birth information, but the existence of such a service is not evidence that its interpretations can predict relationship outcomes.
