Smokey Robinson has three children: Berry, Tamla and Trey. Public sources identify all three, but offer more family background and historical detail about Berry and Tamla than about Trey; they do not establish the adult children’s current occupations or activities.
Berry Robinson
The Detroit Historical Society identifies Berry William as a child of Smokey and Claudette Robinson. It says he was named for Berry Gordy, Motown’s founder. A Washington Post profile published August 2, 1988, reported that Berry was studying marine biology and oceanography. In that article, Smokey recalled Berry telling him: “Jacques Cousteau cannot live forever, Dad.” These are details from 1988, not evidence of Berry’s present-day work or interests.

Tamla Robinson
The Detroit Historical Society identifies Tamla as a child of Smokey and Claudette Robinson. Her name refers to Tamla, Berry Gordy’s first record label. The 1988 Washington Post profile said she wanted to become a fashion designer in Paris. That was a report of her plans at the time, not a current account of her career.
Trey Robinson
The HistoryMakers biography of Smokey Robinson and the Detroit Historical Society identify Trey as another of his children. The sources cited here do not provide comparable biographical detail about Trey, so claims about his background, work or personal life would go beyond what they establish.

What is known about the family
The HistoryMakers biography names Berry, Tamla and Trey as Robinson’s three children. The Detroit Historical Society provides the family and naming context for Berry and Tamla and identifies Trey as another son. Taken together, these sources establish who the children are, but not a full current biography of each adult.
