Can you watch the first seven minutes of Smile 2 for free? A Paramount promotion reported in November 2024 offered the film’s opening excerpt at no charge—but viewers had to verify their age, allow camera access, and keep smiling while it played. That was a limited preview, not the full movie, and its current availability has not been confirmed.
What was the catch with the free preview?
The promotion asked viewers to complete an age check, grant webcam access, then hold a smile through the seven-minute clip. Yahoo Entertainment reported those requirements on November 5, 2024; Tech Advisor later reported that the clip paused if the viewer stopped smiling. The seven minutes were an excerpt from the opening of the film, not a free feature-length stream. Yahoo Entertainment and Tech Advisor described the historical campaign; neither establishes that it is still active.

Is the Smile 2 challenge still available?
The campaign was reported around Halloween 2024. Its present status is unverified, so treat it as a past promotion unless Paramount has a live official campaign page. Avoid granting camera access to a page that cannot be verified as an official promotion.
How can you watch the full film in the US?
As of October 8, 2026, JustWatch listed US subscription-streaming options, including Netflix and Paramount+, as well as paid rentals and digital purchases. DVD and Blu-ray purchases were also listed, including through Amazon. JustWatch showed no free full-film streaming option on that date.
